NEHAP Sabah Chapter

NEHAP Sabah Chapter was established in July 2013 under the jurisdiction of Sabah State Government. The framework of NEHAP Sabah Chapter consists of two tier; Steering Committee and five Thematic Working Groups.

In November 2014, Secretariat NEHAP Malaysia with cooperation from Sabah State Government and State Health Department had successfully organised the first workshop for NEHAP Sabah Chapter.

  1. Developed a module for Sustainable Solid Waste Collection, based on Kota Kinabalu City Hall's Sustainability Centre. Subsequently expanding the establishment of sustainable centres in every district in the state of Sabah.

E-LEARNING: First Responders Modules in Disaster Management
Led by the critical need for competent disaster responders, NEHAP Malaysia created this voluntary competency module for front liners, volunteers, and Civil Defence personnel. The course covers the four phases of disaster management: mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
