10th National Environmental Health Action Plan (NEHAP) Conference 2024 was officiated by YB Dato Lukanisman bin Awang Sauni, Deputy Minister of Health of Malaysia with the theme:

“ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH IN THE NEW ERA: JOURNEY TO A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE ”

The conference was held with the aim of strengthening collaboration and giving exposure to participants on the importance of NEHAP Malaysia. Apart from that, this Conference is act as a platform for the presentation of papers covering the field of environmental health as well as for all participants to interact and exchange opinions on the country’s environmental health problems.

The conference was attended by more than 150 participants from various Ministries and agencies at the federal and state levels, lecturers and university students as well as the private sector that are directly involved in environmental health related activities.

A total of four (4) presentation papers were presented by the invited speakers. The speakers and titles of the presentation papers involved are:

1. Paper 1 Presentation: Re-emerging of Environmental Health Threats by Dr. Lim Jyh Hann from Public Health Medicine Specialist, Ministry of Health Malaysia Clinical Fellowship Trainee, Faculty of Medicine UKM.
2. Paper 2 Presentation: Green Rating Tools Towards Sustainability by Pn. Azni Zaharah binti Kamarulzaman (JKR MALAYSIA).
3. Paper 3 Presentation: Sustainable Living in Cities Today Towards a World Class City by TPr. Ts. Norliza binti Hashim, CEO of Urbanice Malaysia, Founder AJM Planning & Urban Design .
4. Paper 4 Presentation: Journey to A Sustainable Future by Mr Lee Yeet Chuan by Proton Global Services Sdn Bhd.
